The Agency Project
The Agency Project (http://the-agency.sourceforge.net/forum/index.php) is currently looking for map makers to assist in creating content for the game. The type of maps that the project could use should reflect an urban theme/layout. The project is completely open and will be distributed free over the Internet.

If you are interested, visit http://the-agency.sourceforge.net/forum/index.php for more details regarding the project or contact limpnode@users.sourceforge.net.

Pretentious title?

reallife setting? sniff....
Yeah
Glad independant game designers are making such original things.

Anyway, site doesn't make me interest at all anyway. No information on the game, just that it's free and there's supposedly some work done on some engine plus a model or 2 done. Is there any design doc? The bit where you say how much is finished doesn't mention one, and that should be at least in a rough draft before you start anything. Any defining features you plan to implant? Going to be tough to grab any talent to help if no one has a clear idea what they're getting into, and what they'll be doing as soon as they get going.
Sigh
Going to be tough to grab any talent to help if no one has a clear idea what they're getting into, and what they'll be doing as soon as they get going.

This is exactly the reason people should read other posts as well. It says right there that the maps "should reflect an urban theme/layout". That should get anyone started. Now, I wonder if they'll accept my .rmf files...

Anyway, the forums don't really tell shit about the actual game. I dicked around a bit and found out that it's supposedly supposed to be in third person, and that was it. Any real reason why I should play this thing, let alone try to map for it?

Granted, this could be just my own blindness and laziness, so feel free to flame me.
I appreciate the feedback. Please excuse the lack of online documentation, it just hasn't been posted yet. Besides, game design, implementation, and distribution takes more than just one, it will take the efforts and ideas of many to make it a reality.

If you had a 1 level demo to show people I think you'd attract more interest. Urban-theme doesn't really say anything.
