btw have you checked the SDA lately? They have a new whole of quake marathon run there and a terra run too. (just put the pak to a gamedir and put playdemo start or playdemo terra1 and the rest will follow automatically)

In half of the shots, the resolution seems actually quite big! Much bigger than the original's 320x200. 

Can anyone point me to a detailed Quake 3 perfomance tweak guide (including explanations of those video/audio tweak console commands and such)? For the time being I am stuck on a Duron 800 with a GF2 MX and Quake 3 gets pretty damn slow on some maps. 

Cellphone Quake looks pretty good! Maybe we can make a start up company that makes add on packs of levels for it that you can download for a fee!!!!11!11

Here's a question for the people that are keeping the dodgy ringtone people in business: Why do you keep downloading these crap ringtones? Is it to prove how bad your taste in badly programmed synthesised music is, because you are so unaware of where a sound is emanating from you need to have your mobile ringtone personalised, or is it just to highlight what an absolute cock jockey you are (of course, you just believe that it shows what a stand up character you are)?

I'd never buy one but I do have a custom one to be able to tell that it's my phone ringing and not anyone else's. I don't have any polyphonic stuff though just an old primitive phone model and like vigil it's the only phone I have after moving away from my parents. 

All of you whining about custom ringtones are probably using the default Windows wallpaper and theme too. No? Then what the hell are you whining about?

Windows theme and wallpaper are: 1. Free. 2. Items which don't piss everyone else off. 3. Capable of being high quality. 4. Items which are often in your senses most of the time you're on a PC.

I wouldn't even care except my phone doesn't even offer a "phone ringing" sound; i have to use one of their 20 stupid default tunes, which all suck.

I used to totally customize my windows themes and stuff, but after using so many computers at home and work, it's easier to go with the default and simply customize the minimum i need (turning off winxp skin, turning on classic start menu, bumping mouse sensitivity and key repeat rate, and turning on show file extensions and show hidden files.) Since we're sharing. 

I've never owned one and I despise and loathe anyone who uses it other than for emergencies or in private.

There is nothing more irritating than walking around in public, listening to some brain-dead twat arguing on a cell phone over some stupid domestic shit like "HONEY, I BOUGHT THE DIAPERS LAST TIME"
