Fucking Sixteen It Is Then
Obscure reference perhaps? But it makes me crack up everytime.
Scared Of Scottmen
Dudes, I deal with bikers as clientale almost on a daily basis; I've had my ass kicked more than a few times, including once with a baseball bat. Wee little Scottsmen are the last thing on my list of fears.
BTW, I Wont Be Able To Speedmap Saturday,
Mom gets out of prison tommorrow!
I'm Rick James Bitch!
Holy Shit On A Barby
Rick James is Dead
I remember when I was a kid I used to get him confused with Kid Creole.
Kell...
Oh no you Di'nt...
Jplambert
Hello, how are you, long time no see, I thought you had died. Hows the new map coming along?
My Point Is...
that The Name Of The Rose is merely a blip on an otherwise uninterrupted downward trajectory.
Oh, No Way,
Focault's Pendulum was wayyyyy better!!!!!!!!!!!
River City Ransom Ex

NPR Quake
Welcome To 2002.
phait, go map.
Checking In...
Hey all. It must be at least a year since I last posted here & probably 2 years or more since I hung out here. Anyway, I'm still serving up good ol' Quake 2 on my server in Seattle. I haven't mapped for a couple years but feel the bug starting to catch up to me again. I suppose I just wanted to say hello. I hope all is well with those I was friendly with. I'm running through the best Q2 maps released in the last couple years. Can you help me out & point me to the 10 best released in my absence? Also, is the IRC hangout still at #terrafusion?

TIA :)
Hey DeFrag
Good to hear from ya. Same channel, new server. Gamesurge.net now.
Ack!
I'm having trouble setting up mIRC. Someone slap me with the obvious.. tks
Nm

Woo, It's Defrag.
It lives!
Hey Pjw!
What are you mapping for these days?
Various Things . . .
Did a lot of Quake 3 stuff (http://www.planetquake.com/pjw), and I may have one more Q3 map in me before I move on completely. Probably more Doom 3/Quake 4 stuff in the future. I'm working at Raven now, so that's pretty sweet--in fact, I'm so happy it's kinda scary. Like an elephant is going to crap on me, or one of my testicles is going to explode to even out the scales, you know?

Oh, I also made some Trackmania maps. It's a truly awesome racing/puzzle/construction game and I recommend it to everyone.

New Unreal 3 Engine Screenshots:
Groovy
Although I saw them in PCZone a couple of months ago.
Unreal
I'm not getting worked up over Unreal engine shots again. They had some pics out before Unreal 2 as well, which looked awesome at the time (12 - 15 months before release).

However, when the game finally came out, I couldn't see nothing of the sort. Actually, the game (U2) was a lot of crap, to be honest.

I agree with Teff Johs and remember being FOOLED by those U2 screenshots cooked up for their minions at Computer Gaming World.

That said, I hope this is indicative of what they are planning for the next single player experience. It looks more consistent with the aesthetic of UnReal than UnReal2.

Speaking of aesthetics. The temple facade in the second pic is glaringly off center.
Mmmmm...

^^^ How can I resist??

And personally, the graphics weren't the problem at all in U2. In fact they were generally very good, the odd obvious glitch aside. But I never saw the early promo shots so can't compare.
DooM3 Level Editing Video's
Pretty simple stuff, stuff that most people here wouldn't really need, but here they are any way
