How To Change Maps Defined In A Start Map?
I would like to edit a start map from a mod (Quake Brutalist Jam 3) to associate other maps. Is that possible? If so, how?

If you have the original start.map and the (decompiled) progs.dat you could add other maps to the start.map.

Next thing would be to compile the progs.scr
again, which means you got to have all original maps too. 
 
that is to connect the func_changemap from the orifinal maps with yours.

Not sure if there areally boss_gate's implemented.

But I don't know such things as quake compiling. So There are only two ways I see, in my case:

1. Use the maps names that I want to change and use them on the maps I want to use. I don't like that method.

2. Use an exa-editor to find all the map names in the start map, and change them to new names with exactly the same number of letters. 
 
rename the maps so the filenames amrchehat start.bsp is expecting?

Esoteric Answer 
Enter the map, create a save file. Open the save file in a text editor, find the names of the maps and replace them with a new name. Then restart Quake and load the modified save file.
