Q1SP: Cerulean Tears
It's been a while since I have done this!

Q1SP map, vanilla style and probably will take 5-10 minutes to complete.
Deathmatch compatible too if that floats yer boat.

Ceiling Windows Don't Count!
Thankyou for amasing oldscool blue map!
Great Map!
It's retro, but it's a well done one, and the map is great looking! I keep it in my collection.
Thanks!
Fun Map - Welcome Back Fifth
I'm uploading a play through video that will be live in a few hours. I'll post a link when it's up. I somehow missed 30 monsters though and when editing I realized which shoot-able windows I missed toward the start of the map!

One other issue was the two func_illusionary windows near the Silver Key with no secrets. SO DIRTY FIFTH, SO DIRTY!

Thanks

In hindsight I should have put some health behind those func illusionarys.
I'm surprised at how many people aren't shooting that first window, I thought that was a given like looking under lifts?

This map isn't supposed to be too hard since it's a classic style map, like something you'd be able to slot right into the base game and it'd fit right in.
Nice One
Proper classic style, good length for a quick blast. Plenty of supplies, and not too difficult, but there are a couple of potentially lethal situations where it's easy to get stuck or cornered by the more powerful enemies. Did not find the spawn secret!

Kudos for the deathmatch support, even though I suspect the item placement is quite unbalanced. And the SK room should have had another teleporter back to the exit tele instead of being a dead end.

By the way, if you want to have a no-touch trigger_secret, just give it spawnflags 1 like a regular trigger.

Fun playthrough, when you decided to use the quad on the shambler at the end that gave me a chuckle. Bonus laughter when the shambler followed you and jumped down lol
Nice!
It gives off a bit of an e2/e4 vibe to me, which definitely gets my vote as they're my 2 favourites of the original episodes. Will definitely give this a run.
Did The Job
100% in 22:36 on the third try. My first two attempts in a comedy demo: https://www.quaketastic.com/files/demos/5thcer_rj.7z

Fine little map with great combat setups and nicely balanced visuals. The first smabler ambush was a work of evil genius

thanks for the demo, took a bit of work to get it running as I don't usually have FTE installed.
It looked like you enjoyed it

Ah that's strange, it was recorded in VKQuake with default settings.

But yeah, def enjoyed it enough to play it through three times! It was small enough that the prospect of getting all secrets and kills didn't feel daunting, and challenging enough to keep me on my toes without ever feeling unfair

vkQuake defaults to sv_protocol FTE999
Ah
Good to know. I was only really using it as a novelty because I've just bought a new PC and am only now able to run it. Will prob go back to Ironwail for regular Quaking
Nice
A wizard map without a single wizmet?

Cool id1+ style, lots of detail without going overboard. Almost found myself wishing for colored sunlight with that stark yellow sky.

Seconding the illusionaries complaint, although seeing how the quad room connects back to the beginning more than made up for it.

Very satisfying overall, here's two demos with an anticlimax.
Mr Purple
Thank you for an entertaining couple of demos.

I definitely wish I had made it possible to get into the illusionary windows that the scrags come from, but it's probably not worth a second revision.

The second demo was definitely not anti-climactic, I laughed a lot. And neither of the testers died in the quad room because it didn't exist. Plus you used a GL in close quarters, this one's on you lol
