Well, I think I speak for all of us over at QuakeGaymers, our vote would definitely go to our Blitzy, he does such a great job of mapping. We would be proud to have him as one of our own. He is such a manly specimen, ooooh, I get shivers, goose bumps and hot flushes just thinking about it.
His DM map for quake is such a fine example of quality through talent. I'll have to send all the girls [well, boys actually ;) nudge, nudge, wink, wink] over to comment after they have finished toweling each other off, we just finished a rather hot and steamy game of tag the fag. Come and visit us if you are a little gay [even if you are a big gay ;), ooooh the shivers] we would love to welcome in. http://www.quakegaymers.com if you have trouble getting to the site, don't give up, keep trying, it may just be overloaded [lucky thing], after all it is the season for being 'merry and gay' Again, our vote goes to our Blitzy Spank my bottom and call me Shirley I don't mind being late, but don't come early ;) What a good found name for a guy who try to sell his "crappy-anal" website... :P
In anyway, the idea to find who was the best mapper of this past year sounds good to me... that's the only good thing of this thread... And IMHO, the winner is Kinn, and his Marcher Fortress map without any hesitation.. Any other point of view ? PS: Moderator(s), would it be possible to let this thread live and just remove the introduction message ?? I read too fast the top beginning of the thread, and I thought that post #1 was part of the thread title... sorry... so my PS in post #3 is just concerning first post... sorry for this...
And kinn is still the best mapper of the year IMHO :P I would say:
SP: Kinn/czg... Huge quality map vs huge quality episode... I actually liked Terra better than Marcher, but let's face it Marcher was kick ass work. DM: I would say inert, only because I don't play too much qw anymore. Speedmapping: Drew imo. That's a crazy mofo. o_O Mod/ModTeam: Kellcros. Hands down. Plus it's silly that a blatant troll has become a viable discussion thread. Map of the year: Marcher Fortress. There were other good maps, but only marcher actually pushed the envelope and delivered something that we really had not seen before in quake (a quality outdoor area that actually filled the XY grid!) one exctrement ~ where's you're ID?
