Wasn't there a time when the reviews were in excess of 3-4 sentences? I think Bal was gipped a bit with a simple couple sentences that fails to describe what makes the map special as a design test. :/
Sure..

Sure, but as
..::LvL relies on submitted reviews, I can only work with what is submitted. You are welcome to submit a review for all or any of the maps on the map queue: http://lvlworld.com/queue.php
Hmmmm.

Kinda agree with Prod there. Surely if you have a bit of self-respect as to how LvL is run, you wouldn't just post any old bollox review. Some of 20k's reviews seemed to have a bit of thought and information in them, others, like Bal's map, were completely and utterly useless for both the mapper and players. Reading that, I have no idea whether I'd want to download the map, nor what could be improved about it.
Reviews don't have to be long to be useful, but they do have to be informative.
Length Not So Much The Issue

As Sham pointed out, the length isn't much of the issue now that I think about it. It's just that some of those reviews failed to express a real opinion of the maps on to me. Sham nailed it, they need to be more informative.
