Func_Msgboard: The Miskatonic University?

While reading "shadows over innsmouth" I encounter a Miskatonic University so I have a search on google for fun, then I find this:

Well basicly it seems to be a real university, but when I see the picture of the "Necronomicon" I fell into confusion...so can anyone tell me is this a real university or just some fan's creation?

Yeah, because we all know only the truly great universities have embedded midi files on their homepages.
