You can get a set of models off of Tomaz's site which have muzzleflashes placed sensibly for interpolation. Well, weaponmodels at least, I'm not sure if the same has been done for the monsters/players. And if it hasn't, I could probably get it done in a matter of minutes, upload a pack for people. Of course, I'm guessing there's not much point until The Fitz offers model interpolations, or are there lots of people out there using other engines for interpolation already? 

My new version of Quake, due to my lovely computer melting down on me is scrapped together from the Quake Demo and various conversions (including the Christmas conversion -- Vores with elf caps), so I can't use FitzQuake because it relies on the registered version to run correctly.

But Joe Quake is not bad at all.
