Do You Replay The Original In-game FPS Levels (Quake Etc)?
Yesterday I have played episode 2 and 3 on nightmare after long long time. Man - that was refreshing! Killed them all :D

PS. I play the ID levels very often but mostly skill 0 or 2, forgot how cool nightmare skill can be.

Yes, but in hard skill, and with Killer Pack mod... it's definitively nuch more interesting and funny =D

You're right, I particularly love to see rotweiller eating dismembered bodies ... o_O
BTW in Killer pack, bodies are solid, and then can be carved by the player (with axe for example...) ... butchery stuff in fact... ;P
I Play The ID Maps All The Time. : )
On Nightmare, with the Tenebrae engine and some mournful music like the Band of Brothers score. It's increadibly atmospheric.

Bleh - I liked my title better
Hmm
some speedmap had the trigger_changelevel to some e1 map and I was surprised how good it looked. Then I watched some speedrun demos of all of quake id1 - many those later later episode maps look quite crappy (and are otherwise bad too) in my opinion. :(

All in all, I haven't bothered to play all the id maps through, I don't remember if ever except maybe in coop. Maybe some occasionally if I get a tangent from a rmx remake or a speed demo or a deathmatch game on the same map etc..

It's funnier for me to run through the archives and find good old custom maps from familiar authors. Even old speedmaps when you download a lot of them and if it feels like crap, just skip it.

replaying SS2 right now :)
put it on the hard difficulty and left monster respawning on as well as leaving the weapon degradation rate at normal... man... it's tough :P
