A script that'll replace people's www. with http://www. - we've seen more than a broken URL reposts here besides mine :)

OMG IT'S BLOODY FREEZING HERE
It was something like -18 degrees C here yesterday I think, about 60 miles south of Minneapolis. I endured a 3-minute walk to a restaurant across the road from my hotel, and when I got inside, I couldn't feel my face for about ten minutes. I certainly don't envy those who have to face a full Minnesotan winter :P
Tronyn - thanks for the kick-arse (or should I say kick-ass) reviews :D
Also, put me down with another vote for the "floyd" board logo thingy, that made me laugh quite a bit :D

I wait outside after work at 9:00 pm for my parents to pick me up usually 15-25 minutes or so. Wisconsin winters are almost comparable to Minnesota weathers I believe (can't be sure never been there, thank god.)
Are you making fun of Daunte Culpepper like I told you to?
 Hahahahaha

Up here in the Great White North, it's been below -40 (considering wind chill) ever since the start of January. It just let up, thankfully, and I'm considering -20 an immense relief.
Kinn: You're welcome. Thanks for the awesome map.

I opened the link just so... Floyd walks steadfast to the beat of Audioslave's 'I am the highway'
I'm guessing Floyd is a joke so hideously internal as to end all internal jokes? So, approved.

...I was listening to Boston Folk Radio on Monday around midday when I heard the song line 'I can see demons and fiends'.
It was being sung by a man in a very slow, drawly voice. There was just guitar accompanying. The were a couple of other suitably Quakish lines and I'm trying to find the singer.
I have checked on the WUMB web site but cannot find the actual play-lists.
Knowing what an eclectic mix we have on this forum, does the line ring a bell with anyone?

I went to a WUMB concert a few months ago of Steve Tilston...pretty good show. Although to be honest I got dragged there kind of against my will -- not that I don't like folk music, I just wasn't a big fan of the person that invited me :)

That's novel, so I hope the person who took you doesn't read these forums :-)
I haven't been to Boston for a couple of years but the folk scene always used to be good - how's the Big Dig these days?

Then of course there's Quake 4. When we have more information on that very soon, but it's going to be a very different experience to Doom 3 - there's tanks and Walkers and all kinds of guys running around in this huge war.
I have faith. That sounds spot on for remaking Quake 2.
