Did you see Alan Keys speech after he lost to Obama, that was halarious. I was screaming "Praise Jesus, you tell them!!!" He was trying to raise Dr. Martin Luther King from the dead and just looked crazy instead.

It'll be in interesting to see if Hillary runs next time round.

I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank Prod for bringing up politics. This was an unfortunate corner of the internet where the election wasn't being discussed. I wasn't being subjected to skimming the same comments again and again for a brief period of time. Thank you, thank you for saving me from this nightmare of not having the us election crammed down my throat every damn second. 

... while the US election "problem" is solved now... let's go mapping !!

US president choice is american people problem... even if this choice have a direct impact of many country relationship... And now it's too late to have "desperate cry" .. (Sepultura reference !!)... Just use mapping as a kind of therapy... 8P

I thought I heard something about some proposal with the purpose of changing the rule that says you ahve to be born american to be allowed to become president. 

cybear, yeah, I heard about that too.

However, based on what I know of the American system it'd be nigh on impossible to actually make the change. 

I think it would require a constitutional amendment, but john mccain supports the change. 

It takes a 2 thirds majority in the House, Senate and the 50 State legislatures to ammend the US Constitution. So, yes, it is a difficult process, as it was intended/
