I've played through 13 of the 16 levels from the new unreal sp pack I posted about before. So far, it's very good without being outstanding. Runs a bit slow on my machine but apart from one map, it's always playable.
Well worth getting IMHO.

I did exactly that yesterday. The site worked like a charm in Firefox 0.9.2

I agree with Kinn here.
#1: Why exactly are you not viewing the websites in fullscreen anyway?
Fullscreen at 1600x1200 is just silly. Most sites are only 800px wide anyway; anything wider than that and reading text is too difficult.
#2: Why exactly are you not using a tabbed browser?
Even if I am, I'm still not going to have a browser window take up my whole screen. It's nice to be able to browse the web while keeping an eye on IRC, AIM, a movie, progress meter, etc.

kept in touch with Kona since he announced his retirement? I emailed him a while back, but no answer. I would like to use one of his progs.dat files and some sounds he uses that I haven't seen else where.

Mail him a big brown package with a bunch of fake dynamite sticks taped to a digital alarm clock and in addition to putting the return address on there, scribble the words "Death to Kona" all over it. You should probably hear from him. Or the FBI.

Jago, you must have some different Firefox 0.9.2 to me then, because here it created a new window (sans all toolbars) that filled all 1600x1200 of my screen.
And all for something that would easily fit inside my normal 'viewing space'.

that's what kills me the most. the actual viewing area is only like 800x600, yet the site feels compeled to go fullscreen. :P
oh well, there isn't much there anyway. i don't need screenshots, i'm gonna get this game anyway! :)

I am using the Tabbrowser Extensions and set it alaways open new tabs instead of new windows so my browser is always inside a "single window mode".
Hmm

Aaaah, there's one that actually works now.
Last time I checked there was only the single window extension, which doesn't work half the time...

Gaming Mice
Any of you use a special mouse for gaming? Which one(s)? I know theres alot of love for the logitech mx5xx/mx7xx..do all those buttons serve any purpose? Does it sample/respond any faster than the normal 15$ optical wheel mouse? My old optical is starting to crap out but if theres a mouse that would be smoother in-game then I might consider buying it. I'm kinda wary about logitechs 'gaming oriented' drivers they talk about.

MX510 = Mousey sex. I use Mouse1,2,3 all the time, but the other keys I've never bothered with out of habit, so I can't vouch for them. The mouse wheel feels good, and unlike cheap mice, hasn't crapped out and still feels as good as the day I bought it. This could be due to the fact that there are Mouse Scroll up and down buttons so I don't scroll like crazy surfing the net, I use the buttons more. I really enjoy the mouse and it's kinda pretty. Only issue for some may be that it's very right handed. But oh well, Lefties are weirdos anyway. Quit clogging the gene pool!

I'd like to go to New Zealand and based upon my impressions (I'm sure I won't be dissapointed [and the USD to NZD conversion rate being $1 USD = $2 NZD!), perhaps move there. Away from everyone! Yep.

MX510 = anal cheesegrater rape. Too big, crap main buttons. Gave it away.
MX300 = blowjob from mouth full of Tetleys Cask. Small, light, responsive. Pity they don't make em any more...
Hmm

The logitech drivers are a lot better now, but still not great. The only thing they give you is the 800 dpi (you get 400 without them, which is plenty enough).
I use all of the buttons except the 3 around the mousewheel all the time, and unlike the intelli explorer 4 they are easy to press while gaming (without being at risk of hitting them accidentally).
Basically, yes a good mouse is definately worth the money and the mx510 is by far the best around (the ime4.0 is just badly designed)
