i've played bal3dm5. it exists, just not complete and will most likely never be finished. Bal is more into girlfriend and anime :( 

several people have a 90% complete version bal3dm5. But the chances of the other 10% getting done are pretty damn low.

And those screenshots are from Bal's brother's engine (which uses the Q3 level format) 

I've also played bal3dm5 with bal and his brother inside the balcave but that's another story...

Well, thats what I thought/feared, I guess I could always live in hope. I have been waiting for it since I first heard of it being in the works long, long ago. 

Scampie, you had a fine looking map on Map-Center some time ago, although there was no name, just described as "Dark Metallic Q1SP" what ever happened to that?

Kell Around the same time, also at Map-Center, you had some screens of a Q1SP you were working on, "And Here Shall The Aeons Fray" which as I recall was another fine looking peice of work, what happened to that? 

The map is finished ( though currently retitled ) apart from skill settings and has been playtested by the Muscovite Mappist. It's part of an episode that is...burgeoning with new content? Don't know about release timescale because of other stuffage popping up all over.

OK, some time back I uninstalled System Shock 2 to make room for another game (cough, Sims, cough.)

Now, that game is history, so I go to reinstall SS2. Everything seems to go fine. I fire it up. Splash screen, screen changes resolution, blinks - and I'm spat back to the desktop. No error messages, no explanation.

Can anyone suggest what's going worng? (BTW - DirectX 8.1, so it's not that.)
