People who play it and people who watch it seem to think that American Football is the manliest and toughest pass-time in the history of athletics. Which it isn't. Aussie Rules Football being the case in point.

The Patriots will be victorious come February 1st.

Although the Panthers are a very good team, they're going up against a defense that's very good at stopping the run. The Panthers entire gameplan is focused around the run. Should the Patriots shut down the Panthers running game, that would put the Panthers in a position where they would have to pass late the game, where the Patriot secondary can really hurt teams.
