how are those eyes? I've never seen eyes that look exactly like bits of flesh. =/ 

Yeah sure, the id guys decided to paint tiny 'bits of flesh' that were lighter and yellower than the surrounding skin and exactly the same color as the yellowish eyes of some of the other monsters, and paint them in exactly the location where one would expect to see eyes. Sure. U-huh. 

those screenshots are doctored! 

They look pretty much exactly like the other bits of flesh look like, and I would really expect to see eyes where the horns are. Maybe if there were a clearer picture or something REMOTELY RESEMBLING EYEBALLS I would admit fiends have eyes. But it doesn't looks anything like an eyeball, it looks like a bit of flesh, so I guess you need your eyes checked.

They're just blemishes. If you'd been genetically transmorgrified by Quake's despickable magicks to have killing spikes protruding from where your eyes should be, you'd have some residual skin damage in the surrounding area too. Sheesh.
