Well I guess it wasn't really a surprise, as most people probably assumed that Deathmatch/Multiplayer, was going to be the 'surprise' that Valve promised along with the release of the SDK.

I "think" they were named "dnudm" 1 through 5 or "dmudn" 1 through 5. Some of the "actual" map names are Devil's Playground, Nekkid Violence, Mindless Destruction and Castle Madness. Yes, I would very much appreciate if you looked for them.

I might have some of those, I'll have to try and find my really old CDS with zipped older games stuff.

Yes, I'll try to do that^^. Just take a look at
http://www.quakeblog.de.vu to read my first review "Numb Nimbus" by czg (thx for this map!). I would be pleased if you would support my experiment of releasing one "5-lines-map-review" every single day till X-Mas. Maybe you could write a review too?

I would do one only if I could write it as a limerick.

Sure, would be some nice variety, wouldn't it? You're welcome to write however you want to;)

There once was a mapper named Gove
( I'll just follow his suggestion above )
All That Could Have Been
Is a sight to be seen
The brushwork and gameplay you'll love!
Yay The Limericks Are Back!

His first was another sensation:
he named it Penile Devastation
While this seems quite obtuse
it was just an excuse
for an oversized phallic creation
Yaay I'm Already Out Of Ideas Yaay

We discuss this to death in the channel
but I think it means Gove likes the anal
You'll think this is crap
but why else would the map
sport so many of those gaping wind tunnels?
LOL

LOL your mom is dead
So funny it makes my face red
Good thing I never raped her
She had a cootch like a gator
And I would've lost my head
Err...

After Bastion, Kinn was quiet for a while
His second map was overdue by a mile
He said, "Have no fear"
"It'll be done by the New Year!"
And everyone rejoiced and did smile ^_^

There once was a mapper of note
who said that the shape of his scrote
was achieved by brush clipping;
R.P.G. mapped while tripping
on acid and a lot of peyote.
An intelligent, well spoken man
QMD had legions of fans
they said of his maps:
hospitals make us fap
and rich_bar makes me play with my twang.

"Man" does not rhyme with neither "fans" nor "twang". Nor does "maps" rhyme with "fap".

T'was a mapper named MadFox (I think)
And copious absinthe he did drink
Whilst passed out on the floor
A strange vision he saw
Of Shub-Nigurath giving him a wink ^_~

decided he must have his say

and idling disable
then remove morons out of the way!
