#tf / Func_qmap BEEF Thread.
Inspired by Scampie who has more beef going than the average American "lite" breakfast =).

So let's have it out here...

Scampie vs. Xen

Scampie vs. ProdXL

Maj vs. ProdXL

(actually most people vs. ProdXL)

Wrath vs. Everyone

Grindspire vs. someone it seems

Me vs. Speedy occasionally

Mod-makers vs. well they just look like a right bunch of knobs anyway.

etc.

if there ever was a thread i could scrub myself from its this one
Same

Yeah
I'd forgotten about this thread until Killes necroed it. It's got a real trashy "Yahoo! Chat 1999" vibe. It's all very narcissistic. I guess some people think their pointless acrimony becomes somehow less cringeworthy if everybody can read it.

Hi Sckacky,

fyi I play Quake near daily. Very much enjoying a revisit of Zerstoerer Jam right now.

I salute Dumptrucks efforts, his youtube tutorials are ace, no problems with that aspect, its cool and that cannot be denied.

I just can't digest his need to muscle in as a "voice of the communitayh" and impose his rules and decrees on Discord (post imposition agreement from sycophants and career conscious/fearing community members is not the same)

You will tell me his discord his pleasing. I will tell you near whole quake chat community being beholden to one grand overlord is absolute bollocks.

His "Daddy is so embarrassed by HIS community" act goes down about as well as a moldy puke cum shake.

Muk, outgrown yourself, new person are we?
Good on you.

Just wanted to say that I never viewed Dumptruck as any sort of gatekeeper or overlord of the community. Not sure how you’d get that idea. He’s provided great tools, opportunities for new mappers to get into Quake. That’s it.

Ok bye.
Let's Say
he is not a vegetarian, but a quakeatarian.
