Tronyn
If you like, I can work on that tonight, a spiral ramp. How many units tall are you shooting for? Also the aprox. width.

Also, did you get the pimp cadillac I sent? I think I can improve on it by lowering the brush count and adding a grill to the front. Just say the word, and I'll have 'em done before beddy bye time.
Hey
Well, here's the thing: I was going to merge two maps into one, one being a highway map the other being my haunted house. The spiral ramp would have actually been one of those parkade-style spiral roadways, allowing the lower portion of the map to connect with the higher.
But, I've decided that the haunted house map is huge enough as it is, so the spiral ramp connection/highway map won't be nessecary. I will, however, still use the car and probably some other vehicles as well for the highway map (but it'll be much longer coming than that haunted house as a map of its own).
So No Rush On It Is Necessary
For the cadillac, I found an amagon copper texture that may work well for the body if it is smoothed out and glossed up a bit. I'll take my time then, and make sure the body work is decent.
While I'm At It...
Wasn't there some site that mirrored a lot of the old CDROM.com quake stuff?
Yeap, That Would Be
Ebay + Rare Quake = $615!

That Is
the first I have ever heard of Quake Arcade __ Tournement Edition -- Anyone have info on what it includes? Any levels that are unique to QA-TE?
Well
the extra stuff looks extra shitty, thats gotta be worth something
Absolutely!
There is a lesson in economics here somewhere, I'm just not sure what that lesson is ~~
So
I want to get rid of weapons models in FitzQuake so I can take screenshots - is there some option that temporarily takes them out or makes them invisible?

And no, I do not want to edit weapons models manually for every pak I want to take screenshots in.
R_drawviewmodel 0

In Console Type:
r_drawviewmodel 0
and +sizeup twice removes hud.
Works in dosQuake too!
Let Me Guess!
I can even use "notarget" so that the monsters won't attack me while I'm taking screenshots too right!!!??

lol
No,
it's against the rules.
Yeah Seriously.
either sneak up on them, or fight like a man and kill them off.

or the truly hardcore will take shots while fighting!
Bind Mouse1 "screenshot; +attack"

Hmmm
'or the truly hardcore will take shots while fighting!'

I think I have found a way I can earn Scampie's respect, though it may hurt a lot to pull it off.
Nb:
no cheating is allowed!
And How As Well
in html, when you make it open an image in a new window, do you get it to have that window the same size as the image it is opening?

it's funny how little of a clue I have sometimes.
You Need To Use Javascript For That

Hey Tronyn,
All that is left to do on the car is the retexturing. It is a more effecient use of brush work than the first, and I used an example from a Dirty Harry movie as the base model. Expect the new version Sunday ~~ ciao.
Reminder
speedmapping starts in a few hours, see speedmapping thread for more
