Love the logical fallacies you guys are tossing
around. :)
Oh and technically there is only one race
"The Human Race" genetic variations are
comparitively miniscule between the various
cultures and ppl. groups. DNA variations
between any two humans is typically
around 0.2 percent (J.C.Gutin, "End of the
Rainbow," Discover, Nov. 1994).
Side note: I own 3 Guns and they are all under my control. SKS 7.62x39mm, Marlin .22lr and
Taurus .45acp also hoping to add an AK47 or AK74 to my collection later this year. :)

But who else is going to look after little Thumpy's interest?
He has obviously become this site's Fred Durtz .

That was all I was asking for.
I may have cowtowed to Scampie too soon
Jimbo Quite a collection. I only have a measily 12 Guage, 30-ought-6 over and under in my inventory which I inhereted from my dad (Srgt, 1st Class, 82nd Airborne).
I Have Played It,

but I'm not prepared to give you a response until I finish my work related assignment due Saturday.
But thanks for your patience. Incidentilly, I like the pool areas very much. Well integrated into the map in the sense you have to figure them out to progress.
Mario?

After I get home from work Saturday, between 7:00 pm to 1:00 Am Saturday, your map will have my full attention. Afterall, I'm saving my celebration for Superbowel Sunday. It wont quite due to wake up with a hang over Sunday with the game party going on.
Lol, Maric Is It?

I'm saving it all up for Sunday.
Festivus for the rest of us!
Wow
I think I really, REALLY like FitzQuake. Especially the maps command. Mucho useful. Well done Metlslime.
Incidentally, I tried running Nehahra last night, and the game crashed, proclaiming that it couldn't load "<mumble>/smoke2.tga". I'm certain I have all the zips and stuff, so can someone help me out here?
BTW, I love forums. From mappery to gridiron to race card flamage just like that. I pop my zits in salute.
FC Are You Trying To Inudate Us With Quake Matters?
#3326 posted by HeadThump on 2004/01/30 16:19:25
That is just so off topic. he he.
I like FitzQuake but my latest map build doesn't. Gives me the Full Alloc error even though it runs fine in software mode.
BTW, have you ever went back to software mode, up dated the settings for the highest resolution your system can run? Now THAT looks awesome. I would love to see Abrash tear his old engine apart and redesign it for the P4 as a standard platform for it.

Headthump: Alloc Block errors happen in all GL Quake engines when you have A) a brush with a large face (2048+ I'd say) or B) a bad brush that creates an infinite plane, which is just as bad as a large face.
Infinite Plane Ouch
#3328 posted by HeadThump on 2004/01/30 16:31:23
that is why I had to start over from scratch on this map; it's the turtlemap. More likely it is from a huge wall I have to keep lava and the edge from touching.
#3329 posted by - on 2004/01/30 16:36:00
yeah, just try splitting the brush up into 4 quarters or something.
Err
#3330 posted by R.P.G. on 2004/01/30 16:44:37
That may or may not work. QBSP will probably try to join them up again, and then you'd be right back where you started. Split it up into multiple brushes, but then resize the backs of the brushes so that they couldn't be merged back into one.
Excellent,
#3331 posted by HeadThump on 2004/01/30 16:56:27
that fix should do it.
Does anyone know if Abrash keeps a recent site up date with his latest projects? I've heard he was up to something in the game field, but information has been hard for me to find.
Omg

only 12 hours ago! And there were 70(!) new posts in GA.
I have two points of view on the matter:
1) wrath is angry, bitter, and utterly hilarious.
2) Who is Headthump again? And why is he/she it on here?
Hhmmm?
