I' m most surprised by the way statements sometimes
get rushed with your adequad comments, I turn into purple.
Quakeulf
Ignore the cunt. It's brilliant but deeply flawed.
I still would like to know what I can do to undo what wrongdoings I have done in the past.
Acknowledge that Quake maps made for engines with extended limits are still Quake maps. (You rather infamously said otherwise.)
Acknowledge that modern Quake is still Quake. (Same.)
Acknowledge that you are not, in fact, the only person still mapping for Quake 2. (As per the above.)
Acknowledge that func isn't a place for "Quake 2 haters" simply for prefering Quake 1. (That one thread about Sanic Mayhem or however was it called).
Then maybe reflect a bit on your original question.

Reading this thread is like reading an acid-trip laden fight between two people I'm hearing from an apartment over.
As for Qulf,
>I am rather saddened by the state of the /vr/-doom threads now which are 99% "your favorite game sux no valid reason given".
- Welcome to 4chan, it is not an accurate representation of the community and it's literally designed to stunt any community interaction. Leave that shit behind and never think of it again, it can only improve your outlook on the community.
>Then there are those who pin the blame on someone from the Quake mapping community called "Alf" and it creates the worst kind of discourse.
- This sounds like some very old garbage that you shouldn't bother with. Stop listening to nobodies on the state of the somebody community.
>As I have gotten blocked by certain people on twitter for no reason given (so far) it really does not help build a community.
- Twitter is also not the Quake community, I will personally say your constant usage of the catface is extremely annoying, but not enough to block you. As we mentioned a few months ago, you're most likely on some kind of block list, either that or the people who have you blocked have you blocked for a reason you're not willing to reconcile or talk about, which seems more likely.
>I really hope that something can be done with this, as it is the main reason I am not more active. When we are so few there is no reason to have a few bad seeds ruin it all...
-The bad seeds really don't ruin it all, if I am to be frank with you, it seems like you've got some personal issues that you need to sort out. I've personally seen you discredit modern Quake mapping, Quake in and of itself, and many Quake 2 things so.. maybe you should do some introspection before throwing stones?

This cuts deep, friend.

Just a reminder (and a welcome to quakeulf) that good old #terrafusion is still around for relaxed and liberal community interaction here:
https://discord.gg/d5mytUj , including general gaming / societal chit-chat from a Quake / retro-FPS perspective, and including a place to hammer out these issues in real time if you like. Cunts are welcome, arguing about the validity of Quake 2 is also welcome, as long as you don't get too personal nor stray into unprovoked attacks, and hell, even the word cunt is very welcome. #justsoyouknow

Quake Vinyl Soundtrack

Hi there,
I recently stumbled across this messageboard while looking for screenshots for the Quake vinyl soundtrack booklet that was released on the NIN store. The booklet, apparently due to issues with Zenimax, was only available as a pdf and includes a whole mess of "unauthorized images" that are purposely blurred due to said issues. I was wondering if anyone here wouldn't mind taking a look at the pdf to see if you have any clue which screenshots should be used, or if you might be able to find suitable replacements that might correspond to the missing images. The community on Reddit has done a fantastic job so far, but if you have the time to check it out, I would love your input. This seems like an active and knowledgeable Quake community, so if anyone wants to pass it along, that would be fantastic. Everyone involved is hoping to recreate the booklet to the quality the game deserves, so any help would be sincerely appreciated. Thanks so much for your time.
Here's the link on Reddit:

The archived link is right at the top of the thread with both the original and the replaced image versions as well as the discussion relating to the project. By the way, if you're already aware and possibly involved--sorry for wasting your time. Thanks again.

if you copy/paste the password directly from the thread, you need to delete a space at the end of it.
That Was It.

Never noticed those pesky spaces. Thanks.
Just happened to notice that Shadow Warrior (1997) is free on gog.com. Don't know if that's always the case, but just in case it's a time-limited thing I thought it might be worth mentioning here.
