Inspiration & Reference
I just wanted to know if people had any links to good websites for either level design inspiration (photos, paintings, concept art, etc.) or just for architectural reference. We had a thread like this on the old qmap, but we know how much good that does us.

Great Game..

Skin isn't flesh though (sorry)

A book bound in flesh (i.e. muscle and fat) sounds even more gross though.

Sounds like an idea for a new knave-themed monster... bookworms... ?

Also
Any Of Those
Could be monster_demon2, 3 etc.

Although the one with it's balls hanging off its face looks a bit suspect.

Some Castles, Some Forts
and cloisters and such.

its a terrible site, i know, but theres a bunch of breathtaking shots, for those who manage to navigate to them:)

^^These Drawings Are Amazing!

Huh
I saw those the other day and for some reason assumed I had gotten the link here, thus didn't post.

Those are awesome
Cool Stuff
Reminds me of Rome, in an oblique way.

I see ijed has ... wait for it, wait for it... an acute sense of humour
Some Bridges
Moar Bridge
Castle
Some People Use Trenchbroom...
others prefer to build out of toothpicks...

Still pretty awesome though

Or With Lego-like Toys

It is more impressive if you have played with this toy or other similar when a child.

I would like to see the city where this toothpick modeler lives, that's is some peculiar layout and architecture for a city.

Traditional painting, robots mixed with rural 80's realism:

Photos Of The Inside Of Instruments
Kind of quakey, in that these are atmospheric and otherworldly interior spaces with no apparent human purpose. What unknowable creatures lurk down long brass tunnels with looming cyclopean valves?

Re #2262
These are really good. The second photo (inside the guitar) reminded me instantly of one of the Gaudi buildings in Barcelona where there is lots of plain brick-work, with corballing and fluting, and curves and stuff, and effective natural lighting shining through small openings.

On a photographic level these are inspiring. Nice find.
I Think I've Seen You Somewhere...
