It's a good fucking time to be a Quake fan. I'll be checking this out today.

Why didn't you design this for QSS, the 72fps limit in QS is monumentally tragic.
Even though vkQuake is forked from QS it won't work either? What specific technical issues will arise?

@Tintin, it seems to work fine with vkQuake, at least after allocating more RAM as recommended (it failed to load a quicksave if not).
Note that this is just after playing 10 minutes of the first map, so not sure if issues will pop up later on.

It looks so unreal for Quake. If upcoming Graven will look at least as this dark little map, I will love Graven.
And let me report little bug. After saving and (on both levels) and exiting to desktop, then starting game again and loading level, instead of sounds of SG and SSG played standard Quake voises of this weapons. Played on QS 0.93.2

Here is an update for the saving reloading bug.

Extract the patch into the ravenkeep folder.
I am going to have the main post updated with new links to and updated version.

Draw Distance Error?
Anybody else getting this seemingly draw distance-related visual error in Raven Keep, and any ideas on how to fix it? I'm using Quakespasm 0.93.2 as recommended, and I also applied the patch. I checked a video playthrough on YT and this doesn't happen on their end.

I got all the way to the main castle area & before I picked up the Gatling gun, I went up a side tower and the damn thing crashed. :(
I was enjoying it quite a lot prior to that. Loved the spooky lower areas with the specters. I guess I will wait until this thing has had the bugs worked out before playing it again.
Awesome job on this, Redfield! It really has a great immersion factor. Looked/played great. I think my only critique would be the SSG model. It looked a tad unfinished.

The amount of love and effort that went into making this is astonishing. What came after that truly impressive and atmospheric castle was unexpected and blew me away. The final confrontation was unlike anything in Quake.
Thank you!
