I would still really like to see a neat round number of 10 perma-threads. 4 additions needed:

Coding Help
Engine Discussion
Other PC Games

Afaik OTP wanted to do something like that. 

Also for some sort of lighting help thread/tips thread. 

Not really sure why people want to pin more threads. If anything, I think we should reduce them. Jobs & Mappers Wanted would be fine as a standard thread with the level of attention it gets. 

Easier to find relevant threads. 

IMO none of the threads mentioned warrant being stickied, because they are either used too rarely or being bumped frequently enough to appear on the main list. Possibly something like a 'best of' list/thread with links to the most important (whatever that means) non-permanent threads. 

gets bumped quite often. I think that thread in particular would be very helpful for beginners who don't know how where to get the tools they need to make their creations into playable maps.

Also want to say I've always missed a "find posts" button on a user's profile. Would be so useful.

Regarding Tyrutils-ericw post. I refer to it a lot myself and I sort of know what I am doing. Good sticky for beginners.

Instead of a find posts perhaps there's a way to incorporate this into search? poster:sevin

Those certainly were not blank before.

In the current database, thread # 61341 has an empty body. In a database dump I generated on June 4th (before the migration), there is a body.

Thread # 61080 is a little more weird. On the website both title and body are displayed as blank, but in the current database, there is no title but there is a body, and in the June 4th dump, there is both a title and a body. 

just did a fresh dump of the database, the missing data is actually not missing in the dump file. Which makes me think it's just failing to display or be retrieved in queries.

I think that there is a bug in the display code, which is much better than data loss. I will look into what. 

The strings were blanked out due to the fact that PHP's default character encoding changed between versions.

I have fixed it so that the strings are not blank, but some characters are not displayed correctly (like the o with the umlaut in Zerstorer.) I'll try to sort out that problem sometime soon.
